It will use examples from Australia, Vietnam and other countries in the region. • The Next Generation Cities This segment will explain the importance of the transformation from a sustainable smart city to the next generation cities and the various factors that influence it • Participatory Design for Urban Solutions This segment will explain how might community initiatives that implement Design Thinking and Urban Acupuncture concepts contribute to the establishment of a regenerative city? Best practices and methods are presented in this session. • Regenerative Cities: Economic Models and Financial Strategies for Sustainable Urban Growth This segment will explore how financial frameworks and economic policies can support the development of regenerative cities, focusing on sustainable investments, resource optimization, and the economic impact of regenerative urban practices. Trainers • Prof. Jago Dodson With a wide interest in theoretical and applied urban questions, Professor Jago Dodson has an extensive record of research into housing, transport, urban planning, infrastructure, energy and urban governance problems. He has contributed extensively to scholarly and public debates about Australian cities and has advised national and international agencies on urban policy questions. Before taking his current role at RMIT, Jago held positions at Griffith University, as a Research Fellow from 2004–2014 and as Director of Griffith’s Urban Research Program from 2011–2014. Jago’s PhD studies investigated problems in housing policy reform in Australia and New Zealand focusing on the production of policy ‘truths’ and the subjective constitution of housing assistance recipients. • Prof. Andrew Butt Andrew’s research includes investigations of the processes and practice of planning in cities and beyond. He is presently involved in diverse projects in Australia, Vietnam and the Pacific region. Andrew’s research and supervision interests are: Land use planning and regional development, planning in peri-urban and rural areas, urban fringe housing and development, planning education in cross-cultural settings, and planning and socio-economic change in small cities and towns. • Prof. Ir. Ridwan Sutriadi, ST., MT., Ph.D Education: ST. – Bandung of Institute Technology MT. – Bandung of Institute Technology Ph.D – University of Florida Expertise: Smart sustainable cities, especially communicative cities towards knowledge cities in the digital era. Currently appointed as the Director of Non-Regular Education at ITB. Previously being the Head of the ITB Urban and Regional Planning Undergraduate Study Program as well as the training coordinator for HR development civil servant. Active in the professional association Indonesian Planning Experts Association (IAP) and as a member of the Regional and Urban Engineering Vocational Board of the Indonesian Engineers Association, as well as the Independent Assessment Team for Regional Development Awards at the West and Central Java Provincial Levels (Bappenas). • Dr. Dwinita Larasati, S.Sn., M.A. Dwinita Larasati studied industrial product design at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Design Academy Eindhoven, and Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands. She is the Focal Point of Bandung City of Design, UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN); an Expert Board of Bandung Creative Economy Committee, and an Advisor to the West Java Creative Economy and Innovation Committee. She is an Executive Committee at Indonesia Creative Cities Network (ICCN), a Research Fellow at the Creative Industries Policy and Evidence Centre (PEC), a member of the Global Creative Economy Council (GCEC) and The Indonesian Academy of Sciences (AIPI). She currently works as a lecturer & researcher at ITB, and in her spare time she creates and publishes graphic diary. Her research interests include Product Design Development, Material (Natural Fibers) Exploration, Design for Sustainability, Design Thinking, Social Innovation, Creative City, Creative Economy, Community Development, Culture and Creative Ecosystem. • Ts. Dr. Raden Aswin Rahadi, S.T, MBA A Real Estate and Property veteran, he was previously appointed as a Senior Lecturer at School of Maritime Business & Management, Universiti Malaysia Terengganu, Malaysia (2016-2017); Managing Partner at RA+ Consulting (2010-2016); Senior Associate at Northstar Pacific & Partners (2004-2010); and Junior Business Development Manager at BSD City (2003-2004). He holds a Doctorate degree with Distinction (Cum Laude) in Science Management from School of Business and Management, Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia; Master of Management degree from Swiss German University, Indonesia; Master of Business Administration degree from Fachhochschule Konstanz Hochschule fur Technik, Wirtschaft und Gestaltung, Germany; and Bachelor of Engineering degree from School of Architecture, Planning, and Policy Development, Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia. Currently he has published ++274 scientific articles in journals and conferences, mostly in the fields of real estate, finance, management, consumer behaviour, consumer preference, marketing, entrepreneurship, e-commerce, financial planning, and city & quality of life improvements.
