Description

School of Art – RMIT University, in partnership with Faculty of Art and Design the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), is developing an intensive program to strengthen Indonesia’s creative and professional ecosystems. Focusing on digital and creative industries, collaboration, and sustainability, the program supports workforce development and transnational education through applied learning and international exchange.

Objective:
Strengthen professional practice skills within Indonesia’s creative and professional ecosystems; Foster research-led approaches to creative practice, linking academic inquiry with professional world application; Build capacity in creative professional practice, entrepreneurship, sustainability, institutional and communities cross-cultural exchange; Connect artists, designers, academics, students, industry leaders, and policymakers across national and international contexts; Support the development of scalable and sustainable transnational education models.

Output:
Capacities of mapping skills gaps and future workforce needs in the thematic areas; exploration interdisciplinary and research-led creative practice methodologies;
sharing of regional models of professional practice; networks between universities, creative practitioners, industry, and government.
