Materi mencakup hukum termodinamika, sifat termodinamika uap, siklus Rankine, neraca massa dan energi, kimia pembakaran, serta konfigurasi dan komponen utama boiler. Selanjutnya, peserta mempelajari pemodelan proses PLTU menggunakan Aspen Plus serta dasar dan penerapan Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) untuk simulasi furnace dan proses pembakaran.
